Support boost for Castle Point Businesses

Castle Point Borough Council in partnership with business advice specialists Deyton Bell, are offering a programme of free business advice and support to help ventures thrive.

Businesses and budding entrepreneurs across Castle Point now have free access to advice
and support to help their venture thrive.

Thanks to funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, Castle Point Borough Council has
launched the Castle Point Business Accelerator support programme.

The programme, which is being delivered in partnership with business advice specialists
Deyton Bell, offers a range of free services including a dedicated helpline, 1-2-1 mentoring
and group workshops.

It is open to anyone living in the borough from those already running a business within
Castle Point, to those looking to take the first steps to setting up a company.
Cllr Barry Palmer, Cabinet Member for Economic Growth at Castle Point Borough Council,
said: “Small businesses are the backbone of our local economy. Our aim is to help them
thrive and encourage others to start up.

“We want to foster a thriving business community, inspire innovation, and contribute to
economic growth across the Castle Point area.

“These are tough economic times and sound advice and support is vital. It can make all the
difference to ensuring that your venture, whatever it may be, succeeds.”
