Chris Parkhouse, Chairman of The Institute of Directors in Cambridgeshire this week launched the build up to the IoD East of England Regional Annual Dinner to be held on Saturday 30 June 2007, at the highly prestigious King’s College, Cambridge.
The Annual Dinner is open to all IoD members and guests from Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. The event will begin at 7.00pm with a drinks reception on the College lawn beside the picturesque River Cam. Dinner will be served in the Great Hall at 8.00pm. Those who have dined there before will know what a magnificent venue it is and what a wonderful atmosphere and setting it provides.
The menu will be carefully chosen and perfectly prepared, with wines selected from the College’s cellars to accompany each delicious dish. Coffee and port will be served to complete a wonderful meal. Returning by popular request, musical entertainment will be provided by Collegium Regale.
With the exception of a brief welcome from Chris Parkhouse, the event is purely social and there will therefore be no formal speeches at this popular black tie dinner.
Commenting on the build up to this year’s Annual Dinner, local chairman Chris Parkhouse said: “I am delighted that IoD Cambridgeshire is once again organising the East of England Annual Dinner which is always one of the highlights of our year. I hope that as many members and their guests as possible will be able to join us at King’s on June 30.”
Bookings can be made via the website at www.iod.com/events and should be received no later than 15th June 2007.
