Cambridge, UK, 1 May 2007 – Deyton Bell Founder and Managing Chris Parkhouse has recently been named Chairman of Business Link East.

The Board of Business Link East, the provider of high quality impartial advice to businesses, is delighted with the appointment which will take effect from the 26th April 2007.  This decision has now been ratified by the Board at their meeting on the 25th April.

Parkhouse is Founder and Managing Director of Deyton Bell, the business development specialists based in Cambridge, who offer a range of consultancy, outsourced and interim management solutions to organisations of all sizes and from all sectors, both at home and overseas.  Chris is Chairman of The Institute of Directors in Cambridgeshire, a member of the Regional Council of the IoD and represents the IoD on the Partnership Board of the Greater Cambridge Partnership.  He is Chairman of the Cambridge International Relations Forum, a member of the Chamber of Commerce International Committee, a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management, and a member of the British American Business Council.

Parkhouse will liaise closely with Pat Smith, Chief Executive of Business Link East, and the Board to ensure the new-look Business Link continues to meet the needs and expectations of businesses across the East of England.
