Cambridge, UK, 12 April 2007 – Deyton Bell Founder and MD Chris Parkhouse has recently been appointed Chairman of the Cambridge International Relations Forum.

The Forum is an important new initiative launched by the Greater Cambridge Partnership (GCP), and aims to bring together key individuals involved with international issues from across Greater Cambridge to both develop the areas reputation as an attractive location for foreign businesses to operate from and work together to attract such organisations.

The Forum is important to the GCP, which represents the aspirations of the public, private and community sectors, and unites them in achieving a common vision. As the sub-regional economic development partnership, GCP provide the strategic framework to shape the future growth of the area as a centre of excellence for innovation and creativity.

The appointment builds on Chris’s involvement in International Business Development issues and his involvement with GCP where he is a member of the Partnership Board.

Chris Parkhouse said “I am proud and delighted to have been asked to be the first Chairman of the International Relations Forum. Greater Cambridge has an enormous amount to offer businesses from around the world and I’m looking forward to being part of the team that’s focussed on helping to attract them to the area.”
